Inner Speech in Typical Development and in Neurodevelopmental Disorders
We are assessing verbal thinking or “thinking in speech” and its contributions to executive functions in both typically developing individuals and those with neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., autism spectrum disorder, developmental language disorder).
Structural Brain Development
Utilizing magnetic resonance imaging scans, we are studying structural brain development and its behavioral correlates in both autism spectrum disorder and typically developing individuals.
We are studying the associations between perceptual and cognitive functioning and eating-related behaviors (e.g., selective or ‘picky’ eating) in typically developing individuals.
