Our lab is interested in better understanding neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly autism spectrum disorder through investigating: (1) the developmental course of brain and behavior in childhood, adolescence, and adulthood and (2) mechanisms driving observed behavioral and cognitive assets and deficits. To this end, our lab employs various methodologies in these studies including structural and functional magnetic resonance imaging, standardized neuropsychological assessment, and novel behavioral, perceptual, and cognitive paradigms. Ultimately, we hope this research will serve to improve the lives and outcomes of individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders.
